We recently had a 'presidential election' here, in case it passed you by (highly likely) and Peregrin got elected. I didn't. I have, however, been elected 'Minister for....' aah sod it, you can see my title. Would you like to join my department?

The job entails doing precisely bugger-all. You are paid in comfortable chairs, food and drink. And you get a long impressive-sounding but totally meaningless title.
