I keep putting in marquees in my introduction (not copied) I update my entry. They're there. I go on edit page, the code's gone! Even if I don't update my entry I return to my space and they've completely disappeared!

Did you manage to solve the problem? Because I see marquees on your page now - or were you trying to add more marquees?
Let me see if I've understood you correctly:
1. You edit your page
2. You click on the 'Update Introduction' button
3. You view your page, and the latest additions are there.
4. You edit your page again, but the tags you've just added are gone.
Are you doing 4 relatively soon after 1? Or have you been offline inbetween?
Which browser are you using, and what are your cache settings? I used to have this problem with my Opera browser. At stage 4, it didn't open a 'renewed' edit page, but an earlier cached one. Hitting refresh in the edit page worked for me - have you tried that?
