Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Oct 18, 2001
But it's Musenews.
And I didn't change the subject line. And this IS the Polyhymnia Speech Hall of the Musehome, after all...

Miss Dragonfly, Muses, Mr Goshoogoshoogosh wishes you all to know that a comfortable location for the debate has been constructed here http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F53219?thread=147121&post=1412268#p1412268 and you are all cordially invited. Any Muses who are also Procrastinators will of course be able to enter the Palace Flophouse and Grill but non-members will not be admitted as it is a private, fee-paying society.
Some Major Quibbles: The Debatable Dragonfly Musehome Community Service Debate
Ottox Posted Oct 19, 2001
Okay, since the Gosho debate now will move to a better place, it's time to change the subject!
What should be done about Musemother Dragonfly's everlasting spamming of each and every muse's message centre under the disguise of socalled MuseNews? And her silly threads here at the Polyhymnia Speech Hall which accumulates so much backlog that we all have to use hours reading it? And the shaming of Shea? And the cheesecake?
What can we do about it? Should she be punished? Or is there a way we can blame Paul for all of it?

"And you can't blame Pauly."
But wait a while, and Paul is sure to put his
foot in his mouth in some other way.

Who are we punishing anyway? Is Punishment in the question anyway? What about our own faults? Do I have to punish myself, and if yes for what?

Oh, Englander!
"What about our own faults?"
Some of us are better at concealing them than others.
"Do I have to punish myself?
Yes, indeed.
"...and if yes for what?"
Hmmmmm. I don't know. You probably have a better
idea of that than I do. I personally think I should be
punished for not eating chocolate. The only punishment
for that is eating more chocolate
Some Major Quibbles: Punishment
Researcher 168814 Posted Oct 20, 2001
I´m not sure about self PUNISHMENT. In a humrous way: Yes, I do punish myself with forsaking choclate... (for half an hour) but on the whole: I think we´ve got not enough time to go about punishing ourselves. I think that´s a very catholic aproach... *E remembers the scene from "Quest for the Holy Grail" where the monks go banging their heads all the time*
I think: We should punish ourselves with not executing the punishment. Just leave the bad concience, and hope we don´t do the wrong a second time round (or the 2,384,303,393,948th time around)
