Of course not. The sun was shining. We have had drizzle for much of the day though.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

When I stepped out of the front door yesterday morning I saw that the ground was wet and thought I might have to use it, but it was no more than fine rain and it had all but dissipated by the time I got off my first bus. It must have drizzled on and off throughout the day, but the sun was shining when I went home, although it was very, very soupy. There was a serious moisture haze in the air.

These seasonal (and below seasonal) temperatures are very welcome, especially the brisk mornings.

Bit chilly with a high of 15C and a low of 5C forecast for tonight.
Wind 10-15mph WSW

Oh I forgot to mention the Key Kegs, filled with real ale of course, in the members bar at the AGM.
Also there is now a neutral position on cask breathers......
Some old farts have been heard claiming "the sky has fallen"
Rest of us are just having another beer...

If I'd been at work today I think I would have taken my umbrella, and I would most certainly had to have opened it. It's been raining steadily for the past few hours and the temperature has dropped from 86° at 2pm (88 an hour earlier) to 63° at 6pm.

Cask breathers? But... but... that's a CO2 blanket! Omigod!!! It's the end of the world as we know it smiley - facepalm

Today in Nodnol
Best described as deceptive, bright sunshine with no dark clouds when I left Home, drenched by a 30 second shower halfway to the shop.
Forecast claimed showers this morning dying out by lunchtime, but more showers this evening.
High 15C 60F low 7C 45F wind 15mph westerly moving to southerly 10 mph as the day goes on

London Sunday
Biting cold after the warmth of last weekend, max 6-7 C low 5C couple of showers early then dry until tonight now starting to rain, with a yellow warning for localised flooding and it is forecast to continue right through tomorrow.
Winds N / NE 15 mph so feels even colder.
From the weather warning...
"Heavy rain is likely to affect southeastern parts of England through Monday, peaking during the morning period. Accumulations of 25-35 mm seem likely widely, with 60-80 mm possible in places...
Strong winds are also likely with gusts of 40-45 mph likely inland,..."

Given that the trees are now in leaf that could mean clearing a load of broken bits tomorrow smiley - sadface

Three weeks ago I declared it spring and turned off the storage heaters, needless to say they went back on on Friday when I saw this lot coming in the forecast.

And in contrast today, the outside thermometer was already showing 18C at 09:00 (It's shaded by a tree but the garden is a morning sun trap)

Sunny, No wind (except from last nights supper)predicted high 14C low tonight 9C,
Yesterday High 8C low 4C 31mm rain
Sounds great today but theres a front coming through tonight with a load of rain on it.
Alegedly this is bringing in warmer air but the forecast still shows some cold nights this week
So Storage Heaters On or Off, that will be the question, wether tis better to fry at night or lie there shivering.
