Why should there be lots of people on the site at lunchtime? Surely they would all be off to have lunch like yourself. Anyway it is all probably an illusion

i went for lunch at the end of lunchtime
my meal times are all out of sync - actually I didn't really have much lunch
I meant the rest of the time people work and can't get on the internet
Besides it doesn't take anyone a whole hour to eat lunch

Wow, you had a computer at school! A connected one at that. Some of us really didn't have that privilaged an upbringing. Wait until you go to uni., you'll see what I mean.

privileged - one computer with a very slow modem
we were considerably behind the times for a 90's school
uni i'll just skew mealtimes and have virtual dinner

You may find lecture time the best times for computers. Mealtimes often consist of many people have virtual meals.
Anyway, my school didn't have any 'real' computers, so yes, you were priviledged
