Do You need a hero?
Are you holding out for a hero 'til the end of time?
Well, while you're waiting you might as well watch this early 21st Century television series.

Excellent Entry about a series that somehow managed to pass me by...
Brilliant description of Smallville
Re John Glover, you list 3 films then say "In both of these" - is it the last two of the three that contain characters like Lionel Luthor?
Is Sam Jones III also Flash Gordon?
"juggling with his father's long-term illness." - does this mean Whitney was juggling high school with caring for his father?
"His chief hobby is asking people to kneel before him. "
"Unless he is only slightly struck by lightning"
Is Brainiac James Marsters or James Masters?
Great Summary

Thanks for reading through 'Smallville' was a television series that I missed a lot of when it was first broadcast as I didn't have a telly for 3 years and had a part time job doing a lot of night shifts, but I tried to time my breaks to when it was on so I could see some of it. I never quite managed a whole episode, though, but have since made up for that.
Thanks for all your suggestions. I often forget that extra R in Marsters – at least I got most right. I've also tweaked the John Glover bit too.
Alas, Sam Jones III wasn't also Flash Gordon – that was Sam J Jones. He's not the Samantha Jones in 'Sex and the City' either, or the character in the Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures book series... It's almost as common a name as 'John Smith'

Nice mention of Sam J there!
I had a few more questions as I read through again:
Batmand Robin - Batman and Robin I presume....
I wondered what 'Ally initially' meant
Do you want to mention Supergirl in Kara's subsection?
