There is an ommission in the list of GP's in Beeston at the time, Dr Winifred Thompson worked from her surgery at Oban House on Chilwell Road and her assistant at that period was, I believe Dr Stimson.
A very interesting article - we need the Infants and Junior School data for those of us who moved on after 11 years of age. The Headmaster in the early 50's was a Mr Reeve, who drove a Standard Vanguard. My teachers included Mr Hall, who I believe lives at Radcliffe on Trent, Mr and Mrs Pearson took class 1 and 3 respectively at the Junior. There was a Mrs Ogden, and Miss Leverton, whose class photo is labelled on Friends Reunited, who were in the Infant school.
