well, right, but i'm used to being the humanitarian. i'm used to being the one who is telling people that they are loved, not being on the recieving end... it's different, that's all.

i really appreciate it, though. people never hear enough good things in these times... all the bad is shadowing the good. but we can change that.

I smiled a lot today.... It was great. Although I think it might have had something to do with my lack of sleep... . But just about everyone I smiled at smiled back, and it felt so good to just *be* there, smiling through it all.... Everything I got back was *meant* too, you know? It was beautiful. There's so much hope and love in that single gesture....

And you know what? Because you are the "humanitarian" as you put it, everyone you make happy loves you back. By spreading your acts of kindness, more people get to know you and see how great you are, and you recieve more love from them (even if they are conditioned not to show it).

I remember becoming friends with this Mexican girl.... Born in America, all that, but she was raised different in the way she just hugged people. You don't find that in white middle class suburbia, you know? It took me forever to get used to, but after a while it just became part of me... Now I hug all the time, and I think I'm a happier person for it. It's interesting how your outlook and actions can change the lives of those around you. Everyone is worth something.

i should hug people more. i used to all the time, but now i've started college, so i'm not as close to people as i used to be...

Yeah, I got your email... I just haven't had the time in the past day to *do* anything yet.... Much too busy! I want to spend the time to read some posts and things before I start writing people. And no one ending in my numbers has come on while I've been online. So I'll randomly click, and go to people who I've talked with in the past.... (My past week, anyway .)

well, after i get through finals, i'll have three whole weeks in which to recuperate and avoid germs. i plan to purchase LOTS of vitamins, and i hope to get more active over vacation so i can be more active at school. i think that will help me stay healthier and happier.
