A Conversation for Before the beginning & the answer to all things
What on earth are you talking about?

I'm not sure what the point of spewing up this borderline literate religious drivel is, let alone why you *direct* people trying to discuss science to it as if it is the answer to some deep question.
In terms of sytle and content, I think L. Ron Hubbard could do better. If you actually think it is meaningful, I think that probably says rather more about you than you might wish.

And he still hasn't given any specifics!

Still, it does show that when given time and space to write an article, he is if anything more incoherent and unfocussed than when engaged in a conversation.

It beets me how you are able to tie such a story into religion what has religion got to do with it? James

James, have you lost it entirely? Doesn't it strike you as a tad schizophrenic to post a criticism of your own article?
If you've finally seen the light, and realised what nonsense you have posted, then wouldn't it be easier to simply remove the whole entry?

>>"It beets me how you are able to tie such a story into religion what has religion got to do with it?"
Let's see: the article starts off:
>>"Many thousands of years ago further back in history than you can imagine, the sons of the true God were assembled before the almighty God ruler of the universe..."
and is written (badly) by a known religious weirdo, who referred to it in his confused rambling trolling about religion on the science boards.
What *other* conditions should be satisfied before it qualifies as borderline illiterate religious drivel?

A historical discussion about the rulers of the universe is not religion.
How to worship or serve the rulers of the universe is religion, the other is history.
If you find that hard to deal with it is because of your own personal prejudice, which is obvious by your posts. James

Asserting that there are true gods is making a religious assertion.
History is a study of what has happened in the past, not what some particular fantasist wants to have happened in the past.
Your piece is no more historical than Star Wars or the ravings of Von Daniken

So why are you so irate then if that is the case Potholer (busy, busy, busy...), I feel you have a bigger problem with what you have read than you are letting on, if you are comparing it with star wars no one thinks that is worth the effort of taking seriously. James

I'm not irate, I'm just puzzled what *you* think the point of your public displays of sub-literacy are.
Also, your extending your strange ramblings and trolling beyond the confines of the message boards seemed worthy of comment.
You say it's nothing to do with religion when it is.
You say it's historical when it isn't.
I wonder why you seem so keen to misrepresent what you wrote.

Why do you want to rant and rave over what I have written, that is the question we need to concentrate on. James

Stop side-stepping the issue. Answer the question directly, clearly and *honestly*, for once in your life.

James,
Please stop acting like a silly little child.
Your claiming over and over again that I'm ranting and raving doesn't make it any more correct.
Possibly your overexposure to cultish religion has dulled your awareness of that point, but repetition does *not* result in truth, evn if it may result in faith in the mentally susceptible.

Are teachers the new dictators of the world?
Why is it that teacher do not teach children to work things out for themselves? Is it because they might discover how foolish the world is? James

This person is trying to convince us he is not ranting what do you think? James

Which bit of: "Repeating an accusation doesn't make it any more true" are you too dim to understand?
If your claims of cultish religious motivation for your homophobia, your dislike of science, etc, are actually true, I suspect you have been exposed too long to people with critical faculties as limited as your own.
However, you really shouldn't expect the average h2g2 researcher to fall for your tactics.
In any case, who is 'us' supposed to be?
Are you actually under the impression that you have an audience composed of people who have read more than the odd word of yours and still consider that you may be both sane and well-informed?

James, I know it goes against the grain, but why not check your facts before stating broad, sweeping falsehoods?
