Aghh it's been raining my tent is a foot deep in water (INSIDE!)

Hello, I've added you to the Happy Camper List and...
*opens tent flap water seeps over top of hiking boots...* 
What happened here?!
*grabs nearby bucket(there is always a bucket nearby when needed
) and begins to bail tent*
There are some spare boards around the campsite, and probably some large stones as well as other materials from which we could possibly make a platform to set your tent above the flood stage.
