Anyone know how I attach the campers badge to my space??? It's taken me this long to learn how to "start a new thread".
p.s. Am I starting a new thread?

Hello, welcome to the Campsite.
Yes, you have started a new thread.
This is the code for the badge:
The Happy Campers
Would you like some help setting up your tent?

Don't come near, every time I put this tent up I turn into a beast with sore bummocks.
*Proceeds to erect tent. Lots of cyber swearing, dissapearing into swathes of blue fabric, kicking the car and swigging from ominous looking hip flask*
*Stands back and surveys her baby. A 4person, 5foot beauty with porch and luggage tent (OK, maybe I love camping too much - is that possible?). Pulls out a tube of tent sealant.*
I could do with a hand sealing the holes in the porch though. My cat decided to launch himself onto the roof of the tent from the shed when I was doing a practise run in the garden.

Cheers. You point out the claw marks from the inside and I'll apply the gel.
*smears smelly goo over (what seems like) hundreds of tiny holes*
You're a star.

*inspects the tent fabric*
That's most of the rips, except for this little spot, right here.
*indicates a smallish area with a few tears*

*Mutters* Just wait til I get my hands on... that little... that's the last time... etc, etc.
Ok that seems to be it. Time to get the stove out and brew up, fancy a ...it's Tetley.

Off to Cornwall this June. Can't wait. can anyone recomend any good spots down there or any other great places to camp in Britain? We are going to the Lizard, at a site half way between Helston and Falmouth.

Hey, this is a well-tended pitch. Unlike mine, it hasn't been abandoned for several years...

Hey, it's better than water _in_ the tent.

Talking of water in the tent. Have you ever camped at the bottom of a slight hill with the door facing said hill... We had to prop up the ground sheet with my flip flops for the entire holiday. But you live and learn...
