No-one around???

What do you mean there was no-one around??? I remember the times on this campsite before we moved to the bbc... only DD and I were around then! I wonder how much of that conversation will ever be restored... I dread to think!

Hi FC - nice to see you again!
Hi Dancer - how are you?
I look forward to reading the old conversations - unless they don't make it through moderation...

Most definitely the unreadable posts are the most interesting! I wish that if they cant show them on site, they would at least send a copy to the original researchers... would bring back so many memories...

Well it was empty when we took it over!
Why don't you set up a pitch FC? (or a joint one with DD). -> Instructions on the page.
So what were these outragous conversations then? Of the flirtatious kind I guess...

Those conversations were in the days when DD was gay, as opposed to bi, and the tent was a direct result of my ex going to Glastonbury by himself and me thinking he was fooling around. I arrived from the mud-pit, looking for somewhere to stay, and DD invited me into a tent he set up, pre-prepared with two imaginary blokes, one for each of us!
Fortunately, it was one of the many coversations that made him realise that us girls really are quite amazing.

Interesting...! Sounds fun.
What happened with your ex, if I may ask?

Fashion Cat Posted Jan 30, 2002
What happened to my ex? He came back from Glastonbury, I had a one-night stand when he didnt want to come round one day, we went out at the end of summer term and got very drunk. I asked him about glasto, he said something almost happened but he didnt in the end, I confessed to the one-night stand... He dabbled with drugs but didnt admit to it (I was told by his best mate). And then summer came. His father comes from Iran, so he goes there for summer hols. I went back home to Edinburgh, and became great friends with DD, cursing men for him being gay. Didnt hear anything from Si over the entire hols. Not even an email. So when DD came over to London for the week and kissed me, we got together. About a week later, I meet up with Si, and have a good laugh.
A few months ago, I saw Si and his mate on telly talking about me. Which was a bit awful, but then DD knew my past and nothing new came out. I felt a bit guilty, and things were said that I cannot remember, and still think are a little untrue... After that I stopped contact with him. Last time I heard anything, his mate called me up as he hadnt been in uni for 3 days. Turned out he got drunk and got hit by a cab and broke his collar bone. And I've not heard anything since...
I have a very strange history if you go delving into it!

Interesting story... (though kinda tragic) Didn't quite get the telly thing.
At least you are happy now hey? Have you got a date for the wedding yet - or are you gonna wait a bit?

Tragic? Well, at the end of the day, I met DD so I'm happy! As far as I know, hes still going from woman to woman just for casual sex...
The telly thing. There's a program late on four called the Drinking Debate or something. People get drunk and talk about anything. Si and his mate went on there, and the conversation turned to me and our relationship. Though I wasnt mentioned, it could only have been me. We met up for a pint so I could shout at him about it, but I've not seen him since that drink. Possibly a good thing methinks.
And I am really happy now. There's all sorts of family probs with the wedding, basically my family dont approve of DD, so we've not decided anything yet, and fortunately DD is cool with that. But I'm really looking forward to the day when we can tie the knot legally.

Yeah, it's great that it worked out happy in the end.
Shame about the wedding problems. I'm sure it will be extra special when the time does come though!
Love Frankie

Yeah. the marriage thing is a long, messy, complicated story that I'll go into by email properly one day, when its not so late.
But DD and I will get there. I mean we consider ourselves wed, so it would be just to legalise it. But, true love does conquer all. Honest it does honey...
