Nice to see that the Noldor elves don’t get a mention, we may come from the deep but we speak the Quenya tongue.

Noldor? I can't find my copy of Silmarillion at the moment, but I'll get back to you once I've located it...

OK, found it, now let's see...
"Nice to see that the Noldor elves don’t get a mention"???
According to Silmarillion, the expression 'Quendi' is an old-elvish name for ALL the elves, including 'avari', and the word means 'the ones who speak with voices' - you might find it expressed a little differently in a Silmarillion in English, I have translated this from my copy in Swedish...

Just had a look and you are absolutely correct. Well that will teach me to interfere, so will change my previous statement to say.
'It's nice to see that the Noldor Elves get a mention'
Next time I will try looking it up!
Nice to see that someone else still reads JRR Tolkien, there arn't that many people left who do?
and I have to agree it has to be one of the most fantastic stories ever.

Oh, there are lots of people who read Tolkien, plenty of Tolkien societies and communities on the net... and even articles at h2g2, try searching for 'Tolkien'...

Whats your opinion on the new Lord of the Rings film being made in New Zealand?
I dont really have an opinion it could either go really well or horribly wrong, will still watch it though when its released.

I've heard different opinions on the film, but I haven't got any first hand information myself, probably because NZ is on the other side of earth seen from Sweden...
A Quenya font? Wow, cool... where?
