Where are you Amy?

Amy! We're back - but where are you? I note with anguish and distress that you're absent. I'm going to have to take drastic measures and resort to shouting. AMY, WHERE ARE YOU?
Ok, I have another trick up my sleeve ...

The magic may work but the posting system seems to generate more errors than it should.

Haven't had any error messages (other than the usual "page cannot be displayed") yet. It's very slow but I'm not going to moan about the speed because it's sooooo nice to be back.

Hi Amy, how's it going?
We're all sad we won't be able to see your fantastic artwork on site any more .
But I'm glad it's back and everyone's returning!

Lil and I are plotting an off-site art place. Some of my newest artwork has official blob numbers and can be seen in The Post.

I've lost my fabulous salamander picture, my dear little woolly vege sheep, the Library and the Natural History Museum pictures. Even though I'm very happy to be back, I'm also very sad about the tragic loss of lovely images. Those pictures made my page!
Sal
PS I suppose, like children, they were only on loan to me .

They still exist in a parallel universe known as my hard disk. As soon as things have settled down again I'll try to get things like the vege sheep "blobbed" officially. Lil and I are working at creating a picture space that you can link to as well.

Hi Amy, I am glad you're back, but I'm really sad about all the lost pictures. I will now have to create lots of new pages off h2g2 to put my pics, and link them up again. Any idea if there's a way I can get pictures into the official BBC site? How are you going to get your pics back? I really wanna know cause I and many others have similar problems.
But I'm happy to see you alive and well, all the best, let's see what we can do!
Lotsa Good Wishes,
The Case M2

Hi Pillowcase!
We'll just have to wait and see about the pictures. It is possible to circumnavigate the rules but I wouldn't want to and I'm not about to publish the instructions
TPTB are v. busy at the moment but when things are calmer I'm sure they'll listen to pleas from long-standing institutions about having their graphics blobbed. Provided that the copyright is well established (i.e. produced by a recognised h2g2 artist).
Offsite options are probably best. Maybe we can all act together in some way so that new folk are met with a consistent approach to off-site graphics. I advise waiting for a while rather than rushing to set something up. Keep an eye out at Lil's Atelier - our headquarters.
