Hi everyone - yes, what is a beach at summer like without having a barbecue???

So, we're gonna have one. We've got burgers, hotdogs, jacket potatoes, chops, chicken, marshmallows, sand, corn on the cob - everything you want at a beach barbecue with plenty of buns and rolls and ketchup to go around.

So, who wants what, and who's bringing the drinks?

*brings some fresh bread rolls, some salads and dips, marinaded chicken pieces etc from her kitchen*
*dashes back and brings a dozen varieties of desserts8
try Menza for the drinks, he's usually good for them

*sniffs the air* Mmmmm, I smell sausages! Just the way I like them too - burnt on the outside, frozen in the middle.

Of course - how else would a barbecue be done?

Aahhh. You've come to the right guy. Our team beat Al Gore's in the 'Memphis In May' BBQ competition, a few years ago IRL.

Hi everyone. does anyone fancy some Becherovka, a czech liquor - good for the brain and even better to sip it over the sausages; they burn even faster on the outside

Sounds like just the stuff needed for a proper barbecue!
Just remember to sprinkle a few grains of sand to give them the proper barbecue gritty taste.

If not, well, we are on a 5 mile beach. So, unless everyone's really hungry, we should have enough sand.

Oh, I almost forgot, I brought chips. *digging into his pocket pulling out a bag of crushed corn chips that now beared a closer resemblance to dust.* Oh well.

Any food for a Fish?

*crumbles some flakes of fish food onto the barbecue* There you go.

That's the fun with a bag of frozen chips squashed at the bottom of the freezer - working out which bits are the chips, and which bits are ice.

I hope that fish food is kosher -- no ant's eggs.
