so here i am in Istanbul which should be nice - but the people I came to visit all pushed off to Izmir today (whıch is where were supposed to be goıng tomorrow) so there was nobody to meet me, nobody to have dinner wıth, and - well I'm bored and due to some weirdness wıth Turkish keyboards, I seem to have locked myself out of Facebook which is why I'm here in this internet cafe... ho hum.
Last weekend I finally used my Christmas present from 
and went off for my "wellness" (spa) weekend. The place is only about 15 minutes from where I live and took the afternoon off to drop me there.
On the first day I had a full-body peeling, used the sauna and swimming pool and generally just lounged around. Saturday was a "full programme" which (for me) entailed swimming before breakfast - including some "aerobics" in the pool, after that there was the aroma massage (using lemon grass oil) after which I had a rather lovely snooze before lunch. That afternoon there was a facial, which was painful ın parts, but nice too.
After the evening meal more swimming and sauna activities before watching Eurovision with some of the other ladies there (it's a female-only spa). Yesterday I had time for some more swimmıng* a back-massage and a make-up session for everyone. And then it was lunchtime, we all checked out and off we went.
Today I was supposed to be off but my boss especially wanted to see me (I work for our Turkish office, so it's not easy poppıng into the bosses office for a coffee and a chat) but nobody is there. I just hope someone picks me up at the hotel tomorrow, because I don't think my stomach can handle another Istanbul taxi rıde!
*perhaps I'm really a mermaid...

I wonder why the smiley appears in the text but not in the preview. I really don't like this new skin.

I'm already having trouble with an English keyboard, I don't even want to imagine the challenge a Turkish one would be.

haha, only on the dark side for that one hour in the internet café because I can never remember the URL to get me into goo
The biggest problem for me, Bel, was that they have that strange i wihout the dot and it mucked up my facebook login
