This message board for the Simpsons is actually about four years too late for me. I stopped watching it about that long ago. Although Danny Elfman's theme is still as good as ever, the show just got boring to me. I used to really love it though.

I think it was when Bart started almost acting respectable. That's about when I gave up on it.

Oh come on! This is such a depressing conversation. Let's start a
new one. I'm sure some of you out there are Simpsons fans who will look at this. Please reply! Don't let this conversation die away.

Not convinced you, huh? Well, I'll give you my biased opinion which will hopefully generate some replies. Homer is the best character by far. One scene that sticks in my mind is when he goes to the bank, pretending to be Mr. Burns. The cashier asks him what his first name is. Homer replies, "I don't know."

OK, that wasn't very biased. Oh well. PLEASE, someone reply!! A show as great as the Simpsons should deserve a better conversation than this.

I must say, Every character has their moments, I've been watching this show for years and it is defintaely an incredible phenomenon. That's right phenomonenon, deal with. There has never been better entertainment.

Now the best characters in my opinion are sometimes those you don't see much. Groundskeeper Willie is always hilarious. Everytime he's in an episode his lines and dialouge are so perfectly crafted as to make you die laughing, Similar to joke from WWI if anyone catches my drift.

Of course we are so lucky here in Chicago to get Simpsons on seventeen to eighteen times every week. As a result I am compelled to watch everytime it comes on. So all you fans hiding out there post something and get this conversation moving.

also you can visit http://www.snpp.com for a really nice site. It's the Simpsons Archive and has great resources as well as scripts and interesting sounds and such.
