I am just nipping to France, so I'll be away most of the evening. I am supposed to be back by midnight but I expect you're going out so you won't miss me anyway.

Apparently the thing we wanted to go to is not until 30/11. Which appears to be a Thursday (which will be a b*****d to get a sitter. I'd have to beg his dad to have a night off work.) So no idea what's going on next Saturday night. I had a good night this evening so I can afford a night off, on the other hand, if tonight was good, next week should be better.
I'll let you know. We should be doing something as there are two birthdays in the coming week.
I'm just babbling now, so ignore me.

So, what happened in France then?

Nothing. We drove around at high speed, couldn't do the Buck Rogers thing (men will be boys!), then came back to England.

Don't worry, I didn't have that much fun.
The movie was ok, but everything else was a bit crap. Which is unusual.
Except there was someone sending me text messages which kept me cheered up.

Right, it appears the Torture Gardens is on 30th November. My mates are doing stuff like booking the next day off work, but of course it's more complicated for me having a kid, especially as his dad works nights.
So I don't know atm if I am going to be able to go or not. But now you know. I'll probably end up working this weekend, I don't know yet.

What's with the odd name thing?
