The Ghost Of TV's Frink

Hey there John!

I'm just stopping by to say hi, it's been so long. I pop in on h2g2 once every week or two, but rarely post anything anymore. So.......

Hi smiley - smiley

Well, anything real big going on the last few months? (other than h2g2 joining the bbc, of course)

Well, hello there stranger. How have you been?smiley - smiley

It's good to hear from you. I was wondering what you're up to.

There's a bit of anxiety over the issue of Moderation and the beebification of h2g2 in general, which has recently taken the form of
links to other BBC sites being appended to Edited Entries. I suspect that petitioning and protesting are the main reasons some people are attracted to the site. The spirit of the place isn't the same as it was in our day, old timer.smiley - winkeye

On the other hand, there are some very good Entries being written nowadays. I think the Peer Review business has inspired some pretty ambitious work. Of course, there's still a lot of rubbish; but now most of that gets weeded out before anyone has to sit and edit it.

I'm glad you popped by. I had a little shuffle around Frinks Drinks the other day, and it really misses its maker.smiley - smiley
