A Conversation for Zeppelins and Other Dirigibles
zepplin, got gas?

New research shows that it was not the gas that killed the zepplin, but rather the PAINT. They painted the airship with a mixture of Iron oxide, and Aluminum powder, which is the mixture used for SOLID ROCKET FUEL. Hydrogen burns blue-white, the paint mixture burns orange-yellow-white, the color reported at the accident. They also found a surviving piece of the airship, and tested the paint, yep rocket fuel. It has also been found in the Zepplin record, they figgured it out afterwords, just kept quiet.
