... you can use 'gay' sexual techniques (can't think of a better word) if you are not gay.

I am wondering if there should be a sub group - semi-bi = finds same se attractive/sexy but does not have sex with same sex!

Well if you find the same sex sexually attractive then you are either gay or bi. I know plenty of straight people who don't have sex with the opposite sex. Sexuality is about who you find sexy, not who you have sex with.

Very true, I forget that sometimes as it seems many straight people don't think that way.

Maybe they're right. Celibacy only involves not having having sex with others - but you can be celibate and still find certain people sexy. What you do is clearly just as important as what you think...

Maybe some links to LesBiGayTrans organisations who work with teenagers would be helpful? For example, here's a directory of hotlines for teenagers: http://www.healthyplace.com/Communities/Gender/gayisok/teen_advice_hotlines.htm

The BBC's 'Onelife' page at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/onelife/personal/index.shtml?relationships#topics contains plenty of good information on exploring sexuality, coming out, etc.

The Albert Kennedy Trust at http://194.202.210.8/ provides help to homeless LesBiGayTrans teenagers.

And Gay Teen resources at http://www.gayteenresource.org/ is aimed at helping teenagers with everything from understanding their sexuality to making friends and coming out.
