h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Right, 1st and foremost, my exams are nearly over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOPPPEEEEEEEEE!
I only have one more left, and that is on Wed 28th June 2000.
The next day, I'm having my dreadlocks, and then it's P A R T Y! Well, maybe watch a bit if TV at least...

Other things.... ermm.... Quiting my band soon, but have been sort of "unofficially" asked to join another one, which is far more to my liking (I'm gonna be playing lead guitar for a start...).
And, i've finally got round to working on SOME of the problems encountered on my page with the new Alabaster *spits* skin. For a start, most of the text on the page had become invisible, because of a little bit of code which made it all white, including bits like the journal entries, but i've fixed that now, by changing all the colours, to a nice red. I have no idea what this is going to look like in the goo now, but it's too late at night to worry about that.... Can't H2G2 implement a little bit of GuideML that lets us specify different tag attributes to code for each skin? (Sorry, i've probably confused most readers now [Munk, don't kid yourself, how many people do you think are reading this? And even so, how many people have made is THIS far down?] but hey, just skip that part, and erase it from your mind).

I should be getting back to the Guide a bit more often soon, but i don't know.... things are going to be hectic for at least another 2 months, with the longest summer of my school life about to start.
If I get some time, i'll try and pop in, and pop over and see all my old friends, and meet some new ones. Until then, BYEE!

Erm..... the page hasn't actually CHANGED much.... it's just been recoded to work with alabaster....... Coz it wasn't working before, and stole all my text.....

And yes, i said Dreadlocks. As in, the hairstyle of reggae and heavy metal musicians......

Good to see you around more again. Don't know if you remember our conversation from several months back re: camping, but if you're interested, there's an h2g2 camping trip to NW Wales (somewhere near Caernafon if I remember right) being organised for the summer hols.

Doesn't seem to be a date fixed for the camping trip yet, but it seems likely to be a weekend in August. Depending on numbers, may be staying at a researcher's (technoyokel) place, or a campsite down the road. Will let you know as details emerge!

I'm away pretty much all of August. I do come back for the weekend of the 27th, but then i'm going to Reading Festival that weekend (and what a line up they have!!!!).
Am i EVER going to make it to a RL h2g2 meet?

Yeah... I've yet to make it to one, and if a date isn't sorted soon, I may miss this one as well.

Yeah, camping sounds fun, even if the mere word makes me sneeze....

I'm off to France for 8 days first, and then back for a few days, then onto UAE for several weeks, and comeing back for Reading Festival.
Phew, and i wanted a relaxing summer this year............

And instead you'll be forced to have fun. Oh well.

The date looks like being the weekend of 18-20th August, or thereabouts, depending on what day people can get there. It'll be at/near the home of technoyokel, near Caernafon.
