Oh, yeah, the media love to hype it up... to quote whoever it is on the Simpsons, "Will somebody PLEASE think of the children!!" 
Anyway, I enjoy shooting, and the general public don't seem to mind target-shooting, so I'm happy.
I'm glad you came back to h2g2. And btw, if you want to chance your name from saying 'Researcher 169806' to something else, click the 'Preferences' in the Goo on the left-hand side if you use Classic Goo skin (dark blue), or in the yellow bar at the top if you use alabaster skin (white).

Howdy Hey,
Wanted to say hello and to let you know that I am what the beloved media would call a "gun-nut" or what I would prefer, firearms enthusiast. So if you ever want to chat on that subject, just say something. Gotta go, but I'll write again.

Ahh! Well, I could probably find a few other people who are also firearms enthusiasts, as I am not really one myself, having only been shooting for a year. I'm still a beginner, really.
