Hello Ms Mang, or may I call you Ming? Thank you for your kind welcome to H2G2, it made me feel right at home.

Might I take the opportunity to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss. I hope that the memories of Joey are strong as well as the bite marks and that Samson regains confidence in the fullness of time.

As to your kind request as to the poor state of my self-esteem, I'm afraid I don't know what happened. I just looked at it one day and it had shrivelled away to almost nothing. Just like that. No confidence or joie de vivre at all. May be it has been like that all the time, who can tell. I have put my faith in the NHS and their marvellous pink pills. Thank you for asking though.

Having re-read the above, it might be taken as a double entendre. I assure you that I am talking about my self-confidence and nothing else!

Samson does appear to be finding himself again... smiley - smiley LOL, daft rat, last night he was asking for food as he always does, but this time he was doing it with some food held in his mouth...! Daft rat... smiley - smiley
