Amusing in the whole but the part about the Clearances is a tad generalistic at best.
Although there were some English landowners e.g. Duke of Sutherland they mainly the Clan Chiefs who were out to maximise their profits. Whilst some of the Clearances were also an attempt at "Improvement" as the people were living in very hostile conditions due to the poor land they were dependant on.
Most importantly the Clearances did not cause the 1745 uprising, it was the attempt by the Young Pretender, Bonnie Prince Charlie, to take the British throne. Plus the Hanovarian Government Troops also contained Highlanders.
