I am going to Mexico City three weeks. Does anyone know of an affordable, clean, safe hotel within at least a half hour from the Benito Juarez airport?
Also,does anyone know if there are registered taxis at the South bus station?

Far too late for your trip, but Hotel Amazonas is wonderful if you speak a little Spanish and don't mind the subway. Parking garage, air-conditioning, color TV, bidets, a nice bar & grill - way, way, WAY cheaper than the hotels in the Zona Rosa.
