Do any of you know any watery based life forms? If so could you tell them about my little pond? It's at http://www.h2g2.com/A331642
Thanks all!

My computer does have a personality. I have ascertained that its a girl, but I'm not quite sure what her name is...
*sips *
It may be Arianne, or Miranda...

My computer's called Holly, after the Red Dwarf computer... likewise it doesn't have a set gender, sometimes it's male, sometimes female, at others it's just a pain in the a**...
I think it's an important thing to name a computer, especially if it has a personality My others are called "Queeg" "Scutter" and "Kryten". Queeg is a hybrid of old bits from Holly, Scutter is my old laptop, and Kryten is my new one

Pint of Guinness please.
I've been lurking but have recently returned to the land of live h2g2ers Please stop by the Zen garden and let me know what you think.
As for my computer, no name, not sure of the sex, but it does love a good story

My computer is mainly sulky, and spoilt seeming. But from time to time she's very helpful...
I just haven't heard the name that is right for her, yet. It took me ages to name my flute, Cassandra, but my piccolo Pascha I got quite quickly...

Mine's Woodstock, though that gets changed to Woodhead (as in Chris Woodhead, the j*rk who 'runs' OFSTED) when it's playing up. And that's often.
My old Acorn was called Cakewalker.

No offence Menza or whoever but he was up for it, if you know what I mean.

My PC doesn't have a name, but it does have a furry (toy) mouse sitting on the monitor - is that okay?

I believe that that is great!
I have a Dogbert doll that sits on my monitor and helps me with my coding
