Sometimes I feel I'm just a gobby cow with strong opinions I should keep to myself, so it's nice to hear that it is welcomed. I have similar thoughts too - I posted on that thread without reading anything other than the first post because I didn't want to be influenced by any other comments. When I went back and read it I was so glad there were other people of a similar opinion!

I don't know if it will make any difference in this case, but I hope something will be learned about how to broach sensitive subjects - yes I've been there, and usually it's posting in isolation out of office hours that is the bad idea, not necessarily the unwelcome news.
