According to my bird book, pink footed geese spend the winter in the UK and return to Greenland, Iceland and Spitzbergen to breed.

According to the RSPB, they leave the UK in April.

The geeseās behaviour is fascinating - I think they must spread out in the morning to find food, then in the afternoon they gather to fly around in noisy skeins before landing in wet meadows at the coast.
