Could the 10 million year old shrews be survivors from say another island that was close by and which was that age but sunk again, leaving no choice but to swim to the new island that appeared beside it? Just a logical thought captain. No I don't want the winning prize of a year spent on this barren piece of rock, trying to prove my theory.
