h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Congratulations - you have just arrived at the greatest website in all the universe! My name is Nosebagbadger (Nbb for short), I'm one of the Assistant Community Editors (ACEs) who help all of those newly arrived at our amazing guide.

A starting apology for a delayed welcome - we've been having a higher than usual influx of new members, so I hope you see some of them around

You've already started writing an entry, and I hope that you keep working on it - we'd love to have something on it in the Edited Guide.

There are of course various other things you can do: you can make some comments on the various entries throughout the guide? These comments allow writers to keep their entries up to date, or just let us know how we're doing.

You can write a more casual or personal entry for the Post, or do one of their Create challenges.

A gentle amble around the Front Page gives a great overview of what we are - the most recent Edited Entries, our most popular chat threads and even the entry to our in-house magazine, the Post.

Don't worry if you don't understand what I might be jibbering on about; have a look at (A83344313) and see if it can help you find your way around what might be best for you. h2g2 will always have somewhere for you to find your own place, and hundreds of people to help point you there.

In the meantime you could update your personal space, to let new friends know that they've reached the right person so much more easily.
