h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It being Tuesday this is a flying visit. I've been busy on the usual plethora of domestic duties today.
The contents of my airing cupboard after the asbestos issue arrived back late yesterday. I wasn't overly impressed. They were in a large plastic bag and when I opened it there was a distinct chemical type smell emanating from within. I presume they used some sort of dry cleaning agent but added to that a lot of the towels were still damp.
There were no instructions or other info on the label so I decided to put the whole lot through a wash during my laundry slot today. At least the chemical smell has gone but 4 towels and 2 bed sheets are frankly scrappers. There appears to be some 'orrible stains on them that frankly I don't think other than dyeing them will ever come out in a normal wash. I'll let the manager here see them tomorrow and take it from there.
Right, time for some fodder then I'm gonna unwind with a nice mug of and watch a film, that's me done for today.

My guess would be that they put everything in the plastic and then sprayed something inside to make it smell like they had done something special. The stains are obviously where the spray hit in quantity. Sceptic? Moi.
