Sis brought over some new music books for me to play (with). And the moon was awfully nice last night.

When you play, do you record ? any of your music on cd/dvd's etc ? for future reference etc ? IE: to see if any alterations etc can be made maybe to the music sheet you've played from ?

No, I don't think I do.

I record these, that's how they end up on the videos. And I save them on the computer or hard drive. Sometimes I fiddle a bit with them in the video, but not much. I don't have a mixing board any more, and I don't use a mixing program.

As far as playing what's on the sheet music, I don't always. Depends on what's on there, from elaborate arrangements to chord charts...and what phase the moon's in, I reckon. Sometimes, I just make it up as I go along.

What I mean (I hope ?) is that playing from a music sheet etc, you record it and then ? Then when re-play it, to change something using your own interpretation etc ?
