As for what to do now, I say let the lumps grow. They might turn into tentacles or extra eyes or something. You might gain super powers! Or you could just look odd. hmmm. Bit of a dilemma.

Our working theory was that they were spare brains I could distribute to the family, because we have a family brain - we always say the same thing at the same time, know when one of us is at the front door, etc

Or maybe it's just extra RAM for mine That would be handy for Uni!

congrats Mal... I'm really pleased for you!!!! (and incredibly frustrated too... wish I could change all medical staff into well-paid, hghly motivated, helpful individuals... Unlikely though, I aint no miracle worker!)

I could use that right about now - or "No news is no news"

Went and talked to my on Monday - she was incredibly annoyed at the hospital, and said she'd get right on it and get me my results. I still don't even have a dismissal letter, and they hadn't sent her anything, either.

So I phoned her just now as I was supposed to do. She still doesn't have anything for me, but she, the nurse, and the receptionist are all in agreement that it's the most unhelpful, chaotic, and generally annoying hospital they've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Ho-hum, I really would quite like to know what's up...
