MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

In the sea, Badgers would drown, so smiley - ok to the Dolphins.
On land, Dolphins would suffocate, so smiley - ok to the Badgers.

In either case, Mankind will exterminate them first, before they got a chance to reach the weigh-in.

Badgers through the TB cull, and the Dolphins, along with all Cetacea, through pollution, both noise and chemical, and fishing!!!

Result?

Event cancelled due to no-show!

Now, the issue of the snake vs the badger is interesting, as on paper by all rights the badger oughta win paw-down, but badger's are well known for their irrational fear of snakes, and as said before badgers just won't let go, and so it is they just won't let go of this irrational fear they have of snakes.

Also badgers are exceptionally good at swimming due to their gills and snoral apparatus.

In chess, it's quite easy to work out: either animal could win, but only during the mating season.

Just Bob aka Robert Thompson, plugging my film blog cinemainferno-blog.blogspot.co.uk

It all depends on the territory. In fact, I don't think even shallow water could act as a suitable meeting ground: either it would be too deep for the badger or too shallow for the dolphin. There's no neutral space.

Badgers can, though, breathe under water... seriously... they just need the correct scuba gear... smiley - erm So somethign kind of half way between land and sea... water and solid ground... hmmm.... Slough... yep... Slough...

Malabarista - now with added pony

Dolphins wouldn't suffocate on land - they're mammals and breathe air just like the rest of us. They're just really good at holding their breath.

They would have a hard time manouvering, though...

But badgers are like Napoleon. They kick ass on land but go to pieces at sea.

How about a waterlogged bog? Would that make a neutral venue?

smiley - snork I'll have to remember that about badgers.

I think for neutral territory, we'll have to have the fight in space.

Wouldn't that be a breach of some arms proliferation treaty? I'm sure SALT II mentioned badgers.
