My Latin credentials are as ropey as the saying, but it's probably something like: pecunium pro altus funis

I put it into a couple of free online translaters and they came up with: viaticus pro vetus funis

Then going back and translating both the above back into English I got:

pecunium pro altus funis = money for high rope

viaticus pro vetus funis = pertaining to a journey for old rope smiley - huh

So logically the correct phrase is pecunium pro vetus funis. Translating that comes back to money for old rope. Yay!

(Latin's not really my thing but I'm bored, it's the long, dark teatime of the soul)
