Hello Xanatic,
you are absolutely correct and very ethnocentric of me. Being English, and being on a BBC forum, I naturally assumed that all people would know the same catch phrases.
I've just seen the Bond and another universal catch phrase - please tell me any from your country, I realise that every country has its own.
Bel and Sho, any from German?
Psychocandy, any from the US?

A German one:
"Wir sind das Volk!" - We are the people!
These words were repeated over and over again by the peaceful protestors in East Germany that brought down the system (and the Berlin Wall, and brought about, in the long run, the German unification).
Incidentally, there was a shift from "Wir sind das Volk" to "Wir sind ein Volk!" (We are one people), thus signalling a shift from action to change the system to action to abolish the system (by uniting with West Germany).
