Well...if you predict you're going to get Writer's Block then you're bound to get it!

I reckon that if you're going to get bored half-way through then that's a clear sign you should write two! smiley - ok

Well they are expecting nonsense so I suppose I could just change tack halfway through I and go off on a whole new and more interesting tangent smiley - bigeyes

Gnomon - time to move on

>>They walked away novelists.

Do they really think that any old 50,000 is a novel? I'm sure I could write 50,000 words in a month. I probably already do, here on the conversations.smiley - smiley But it's not a novel.

I think they say somewhere that they realise that 50,000 words is a bit more of a novella, but that that doesn't sound as good!

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

I started writing a novel quite a while ago... but then I got writers block and now I can't find my muse again...

The link doesn't work, so I don't have a clue what this is about: writing a novel per month in 50,000 words?
That's a lot of words smiley - bigeyes

It is! It works out at 2,000 a day. The idea is that it's so many that you stop worrying about whether it's any good or not. (Which is often the root of Writer's Block!) http://www.nanowrimo.org

It does, every November. The idea is to launch yourself into it and you're not allowed to do any cutting and pasting from previous stuff.
