Is this a tanker?

It's only about a hundred feet long and the superstructure is at the bow, unlike what I usually think of as an oil tanker.
I don't know what it is.h

Here's a tanker if you're looking for one...

Has anyone looked at Google Maps recently? Street View now covers most of the UK road network (and many other countries too), and there are some beautiful views:

I've been having a lot of fun with Streetview, too, Aurora. Your second one reminds me very much of something in my neighbourhood: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=banff+alberta&sll=60.437914,6.473007&sspn=0.062249,0.174923&g=Isle+Of+Lewis,+United+Kingdom&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Banff,+Division+No.+15,+Alberta,+Canada&ll=51.243328,-115.495749&spn=0.039278,0.087461&t=h&z=14&layer=c&cbll=51.246125,-115.49786&panoid=qfm31O706aBicH9MX98HEA&cbp=12,71.9,,0,6.68
I've also been exploring the backwoods area of Basilicata in which I spent time a quarter century ago: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Bagni+san+cataldo+italy&sll=60.437914,6.473007&sspn=0.062249,0.174923&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Bagni+San+Cataldo,+Filiano,+Basilicata,+Italy&ll=40.742608,15.662727&spn=0.023768,0.043731&t=h&z=15&layer=c&cbll=40.742437,15.662788&panoid=yyXCzomsunvFrYhEMj4k4A&cbp=12,143.12,,0,7.56
I just wish they'd get more of Mexico done.

I never thought of beautiful views ... I just looked for my house, and then for the house I grew up in!

Here's another on I kind of like: http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=banff+alberta&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF8&hl=en&hq=&hnear=Banff,+Division+No.+15,+Alberta&ll=51.183862,-115.602908&spn=0.019772,0.043731&t=h&z=15&layer=c&cbll=51.183494,-115.600891&panoid=PAWzY4c0s-QmJfFDg_p3HA&cbp=12,112.49,,0,0.94
but one could go on forever.

Thought I'd give this thread a gentle kick with this weird one 55°50'09.24" N 4°10'21.38" W . It looks like a normal roundabout, but try moving forward and backward step by step around the roundabout. Every so often the more recent imagery showing the construction of a flyover kicks in. Sometimes it just flickers in for a moment. Other times it only shows the more recent imagery Like a ghost in the machine!
