Just rented '24 Hour Party People', excellent film, and then rushed out to buy Joy Division and Happy Mondays compilations. Best bit of the film ?, the first time the Hacienda appears on screen and 'Voodoo Ray' by a guy called gerald kicks in. Ahh memories...........

Right now I am listening to The String Quartet Tribute to Ninc Inch Nails. It is a very intersting cd, and I like the way they adapted NIN songs onto nothing but clasical string instruments.

Currently lisetning to The Corals new album, and without sounding like their agent, it's blinding.

did exactly the same thing myself a few weeks ago after watching that film and then not being able to get the excellent 'Love will tear us apart' by Joy Division out of my head for days.

Should listen to 6music, I don't think they've ever played anything that bad, at least not while I've been listening.

The Coral album is absolutely amazing - faves include 'calenders and clocks', 'skeleton key' and the hidden track (time travel WILL be the death of man)
Currently listening to 'the united states of whatever' by Liam Lynch
(...and then it's 3am and I'm on the corner wearing my leather this dude comes up and he's like "hey punk" and I'm like "yeah whatever"...)
