our NHS trust, that covers 3 hospitals - is that far in debt. That they have to find another £10 million in cuts before April

cuts to include NOT doing any hip/knee replacements and stuff like that also! less checks on recovery of injuries etc

Did you see in the media how much hospital equipment is stolen and not traced? Big expensive hi-tec stuff too, not gloves and tissue stuff

I think most of them are the same finance wise.

Having had knee repacements in both knees, the right having been done four times, you have my sympathy.

Maks me so angry I don't know what to say. The cutbacks are always in the wrong places, in NHS, Police and Forces. We need a good housewife not a bunch of lawyers to sort this out.

PJ had his appointment at PinderfieldsBUT! due to cutbacks (what else)the outpatients physio dept no longer runs and the in-patients physio MIGHT be able to get him in for a few hours IF there is a slot available - not holding breath

went to pindars and saw consultant which went really well, there was a trainee doc there and my consultant showed her a pic of my neck when i 1st had the accident and he siad to her 'you wouldn't have thought he'd recover so much from that much damage would you?' so that me feel better, also got to see a few friends too. physio wise because of all cuts n what not theres no out patient physio but dene's going to see what can be done so fingers crossed oh and i dont need to see him for another year now, onwards and upwards.

Good to hear Pj. Even the tiniest step is another brick in rebuilding the house, and your attitude towards it is first class. Keep going mate

PJ, A lot of it is down to the inherited 'Prof' grit and determination. Well done. Hope the physio can be sorted. It is just as bad down here.
