This is just beautiful. What a gorgeous slice of life. And a glimpse into a world in which drivers let people stop by riverbanks...

Yes, this is lovely. Very evocative of a place and way of life.
But I did find it difficult in places to work out who was speaking and what their relationships were.
A few more hints, or a few more physical descriptions of people might help. But this is subtle, impressionistic and it wouldn't do to spoil it with long explanations.
