Hmmmm, perhaps they don't export much of it then. From the Niagra region, they grow some really nice grapes. For whites, red, and the last few years, ice-wine. THAT I find too sweet by a long shot.

Nope. Ice wine is from grapes that have met natural frost twice, changing them slightly. They ferment differently, apparently. It tastes really nice, but is horribly expensive, and (again) quite sweet.

Meanwhile, what's your day been? Yesterday was an annoying blend of freezing rain, ice pellets and light snow. And then dropped to -12C overnight. With a day-time high of -10C today, and down to -20C tonight, all of that crust, crystalline stuff, and general mess, is making driving difficult, and the athritis do peculiar things.

No brolly as I cycle. I did have a waterproof coat but I didnt put my waterproff trousers on. I wasnt wearing jeans though so my trousers dried quickly.

So you didn't melt away, or shrink any then? That's really good. I think you're quite cute just as you are ... for a "foreign"
