whoops... I keep forgetting to -write- in my journal. Well! Um... here I am again. smiley - smiley What's up? My life is still dull. School still slowly sapping my life and youth... ahhhhhhhh. S*T*R*E*S*S. Don't we all feel this way at some point? I don't suppose it's good if it's continuous or something. Anyway. So what do you think, can there be someone who does not have to be affected by society in any way? As in, can anyone choose what influences them and what does not? I got to thinking about this after reading Song of Solomon... the character Pilate was really amazing.. She started off like everyone else in society, but then after she traveled the country and learned things for herself on her own, she went over her values and morals and completely changed them according to herself and what she as an individual feels. People like that are so rare they're almost impossible... but is -is- possible, no? Right now we're all turning into sheep, and one hardly sees anyone do anything out of pure individual thought anymore. That's pretty horrible, I think. I'm sure not everyone is like that, but the mainstream thing has gotten so strong that it seems like it. Ahhh what to do about it? I'm prolly just as bad! I think if we all thought about all our actions in one day and evaluated why and how and for what, we'd all realize a buncha stuff about ourselves we like/dislike/(dis)agree with.. and be able to move out of pre-programmed actions.
