Mead is rarely found today, except for a large number of people in Rennasaince Festivals, who are most definately drinking too much mead to write anything down about it.

There are over 20,000 homebrewers making mead, along with beer, cider and wine. Also there are several professional mead makers in this country and in Europe. My local brewpub makes a fine Raspberry braggot- mead and ale mix. BTW- Cyser= mead and cider, Perry= mead and pears, Pyment= mead and other fruit.

I can almost feel my teeth dissolve in it. Yes, there's an idea; steal some dentures and leave them immersed for a few days. Entertaining science for all!
