I'm glad you're so close by with those towels, Legster, as apparently the Rosie is feeling the pinch - too many babies being born this month to cope with...smiley - yikes

Sho - I know, I do them when I remember. Truly I do.

I made a mistake in my previous post, it was of course four lots of house guests in three weeks, hence why I'm so shattered now. Today is a nothing day, lovely! smiley - ok

Sorry, Lil, I didn't see you with the refreshments there - you wee over the page!

Sho, I think where you work dictates Leave choices. I know you can go off work up to 11 weeks (!) before the due date and you have to take two weeks off after the birth. Not sure if these are national guidelines or local to my job. I took nearly 5 weeks Annual Leave which I'd saved up and then the Maternity Leave kicks in, which is paid I think for eight weeks and then the money drops and keeps dropping off up to nine months when it stops. But you can opt to have a whole 12 months off if you can afford it somehow.

Oh, did you just mention houseguests?; damn now you remind me I'm due to have a guest down soon, and the spare room currently more closely resembles the spares department of some strange meeting between a music store and PC-world smiley - headhurts where is my feather duster smiley - runsmiley - diva

So where's the baby?

Post 27

JulesK

Right, three days overdue now and counting...

Finished the kitchen (well, it'll do) so baby is quite welcome to make an appearance now, hopefully before the midwife mentions induction again, which would mess up my plans. (I know babies have a habit of messing up plans, but you've got to try to instil a bit of early authority, surely? smiley - winkeye)

How can we coax it out?

So where's the baby?

Plan a romantic evening smiley - winkeye

Maestro is guaranteed to put a stop on it! smiley - yikes

So where's the baby?

Post 29

JulesK

I wondered how long it would take someone to volunteer that solution! I suppose I've tried everything else...

Maestro? Do you mean it would scare the baby back in or halt the romanticness?

It will either put a halt to the romanticness, or actually start you off during the night smiley - winkeye

I've managed to avoid watching it so far - it really is amazing how many of this 'celeb' reality shows they keep getting away with.
