I am not quite sure what you mean when you say this story is for immediate release? Do you mean that someone else has copyright on it and is going to publish it?

Actually it looks like a piece of blatant self-publicity to me.
This is no what Peer Review is for, please remove this entry from the review forum.

While the story is interesting, it's not really what Peer Review or the Edited Guide is for.
If, for example, you were interested in writing an entry on a topic such as:
1) the rights of transgender people
2) a collection of interesting cases in which transgender people have had to go to court to try and enforce their rights
3) the process of gender reassignment (or do we already have an EG entry on that?)
Any of those might be great topics for the Edited Guide, and would likely be welcomed here in Peer Review.
But this definitely isn't the place for a press release, which is really what this seems to be.

I would certainly be interested. I have read a decent amount in the literature about the process for male->female medical procedures, but virtually nothing about the process for female->male -- I wonder why that is? It certainly is happening....

well yes, but it's not procedures that aren't performed elsewhere - bilateral masectomy, hysterectomy and testosterone replacement.
Case studies of phalloplasties are all numerous on pubmed, (if it was achieveable then better reconstructive surgery of be penis would be available)< but they're not actually that good enough for it to be considered routine for the majority of cases (about 5% have had it, of which 3% consider it to be successful).
The incidence of transseuxalism is still 2 mtfs to 1 ftm in this society, intrestingly it's influenced by the sort of society you live it. THere's an increased incidence of ftm's in a misogynistic society.
