Some time ago my uncle researched a family tree for my mother's side of the family. This is what I have been doing all year so far! and why my presence has not been here.
Found some new relatives - sort of sixth and seventh cousins - and doing quite well really, seeing as that I am in Portugal and all the records are in the U.K.!

Welcome back - I've been doing a bit of delving as well - then I went into hospital last week and the nurse has the same name as me (not a common one) I asked a few questions and she's married to my third or fourth cousin (or similar) unfortunately all his ancestors are called Brian, and all mine George, so we're not sure of the exact relationship yet. I've got some birth dates from the family bible, but none of them are Brians.
