I especially like the one of a girl with a dog, and the one you put in ... I meant to say how much I liked that at the time, but I forgot. Oops. Ah well, better late than never.

not sure what hes into really, But explosions and vampires is a more guy type thing Personally I'd prefer kittens and puppies but there you go </>

He'd probably like kittens and puppies, but he'd pretend not to. he likes explosions and spaceships and Dire Straits and the West Wing and the Hoff anything generally sci-fi. Not sure if that helps, but hey.

I had an interesting day out today- bought some shiney things and saw a play. Then was told things were going wrong again

as for shiney things, they were shiney pretty art filled books, and the play was the Changeling which is a tragedy where everyone dies.... eheh

And you really think I'm brave? I think I'm a coward personally... and the smart thing, well to prove my own point just seeing your tag has got the seven times table stuck in my head. I'll probably end up singing it Talented I'll avoid talking about O_o its a matter of perspective

I'm at a loss. Hes still so upset. I just cant seem to cheer him up. Even my pathetic jobes and my attempts at making up a story about a mouse in a tree on the spot didnt help

I know the feeling, I think... I tried to be diplomatic and calm Cal down a bit earlier, and that really didn't work. Well, it was going OK for a bit till Dan posted to him and ticked him off, to put it mildly.

I don't know if it would go on *forever*... but a very long time. It just seems... it's like a misunderstanding that's been completely blown out of all proportion. And I don't know what would fix this. I really can't stand all this friction at the moment. Everything I've tried to do to calm the situation hasn't worked so far.

Earlier, we'd been talking about other stuff for a while, and Cal seemed to be cheering up a bit. He even made a joke about having muddy legs. But then it went back downhill.

So I think... there's probably nothing you can say that will fix it right now. (After all, if potatoes don't work, then what will? ) If some kind of resolution doesn't get talked out in the next few days, I think it's best to just sidestep the issue a bit and wait for it to fade away. And that will happen, eventually. Not great, I know, but... You're right, this is a difficult situation.

I wish there was something else I could do to help.

I know, I mean I thought the mouse story was quite funny too. It even fell out of a tree

I don't think it can go on much longer, there's not much left to discuss about it. I wrote a long post to Dan, trying to explain stuff a bit, and that pretty much covered all the issues that I can see over this. So something's got to happen, be it a resolution or a hostile breakdown in communication... but I dunno, I guess anything is better than the argument.

I think it'll be ok. I hope so, anyway.
