Dear Peter
I was very impressed with your detailed answer to Neil's request regarding the trawler HMS St Elstan(Posted Jul 25, 2004)
I run a web site dedicated to the Royal Naval Patrol Service at www.harry-tates.org.uk and wanted to know if I could use this information on HMS St Elstan to answer a similar question posted on one of my web site forums?
I would appreciate it very much if I could have your permission to use this, and I of course would credit you to being the author.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Nick
I have no objection to your request, but I better clear it with the BBC WW2 Team first, since it was an answer to a question rather than a personal story. Glad you found it of interest and congratulations on your website.
Regards,
Peter

Dear Peter
Thank you for replying to my message.
My late father proudly served with the Royal Naval Patrol Service hence my interest in armed trawlers etc.
I will ask the BBC WW2 Peoples War web site if they would let me use your reply to the original question.
Thank you also for the kind words regarding my web site
Kind regards
Nick Clark
